Bob Zeeb, Project Manager & Superintendent, joined the team of Atwell Development, Inc. in 2002. Bob moved to Vail in 1969 and has over 27 years of experience in the construction industry specializing in "Custom Home Building". One of Bob's strongest assets is his ability to work with his clients to achieve common goals: a high standard of quality construction and to meet your requirements. Another fine asset of Bob's is his ability to find simple solutions to complicated problems. His talents are worth their weight in gold.

Besides Bob's passions to build, he has been a professional race car driver with Rousch and the Ford Motor Company. From 1986 to 1994 Bob raced in classes from Vintage Car, SCCA, and Trans-Am to NASCAR, and even completed the Daytona 24 Hour race. We are delighted that he has returned to the Valley to build Custom Homes again.

Company Profile

Pre-Construction Services
Pre-Construction Services is a very involved step necessary to create a custom home. We like to think of it as the creative phase. During this phase, we connect you with the architect and engineers, as well as the consultants, such as the interior designer and/or thelandscape architect to make your design team unified with our management group. This team is the key producing a design that fits your dreams, budgets and schedule.

Coordinating and assisting communication during this time are crucial to make sure your needs are in the scope of work and at the detail level needed for the actual construction. We can then facilitate a budget and schedule that match your expectations and desires. Through value engineering, we can fine tune the project to save money and enhance certain areas such as the fine details in finishes.

At this point, we can produce a realistic budget and schedule before the project commences. Our relationships with the Vail, Beaver Creek or Eagle County Building Departments, Design Review Boards and other authorities help expedite your project through the approval process to achieve your scheduled start date.

Construction Services
The Construction Phase is the most exciting pat of the process. This is where you can actually see your vision become a reality. From ground breaking through completion of the project, the project manager (your personal liaison) will be involved with every detail throughout the project. The Project Manager [PM] will connect the design team, construction team and you to make sure the construction process works together. The PM will monitor all 16 divisions of construction and coordinate the budget, schedule, subcontractor, procurement and purchasing of all material, manage any changes in the work, and monthly invoicing.

Another vital task is the communication and transfer of all information to the necessary teams involved. Safety, cleanliness of the job site, quality control of all subcontractors and daily problem solving keep everyone busy and efficient to produce the satisfaction of our clients. The reputation we gain from our satisfied customers is the measure of our legacy. We strive for a zero-defect goal on every project.

Customer Service
After the completion of your custom home, we do not stop. When ever any issue arises, we will be there. From moving in, changing details, maintenance, remodels or additions and warranty programs. We are involved for the long haul, what ever it takes to make you happy; we will be there to assist you in anyway you wish. Most of our business comes from repeat customers and/or from their referrals based on the positive experience they receive.

We are a not a large company and do not want to be. We strive for only set number of projects per year to achieve our high levels of quality and finish to satisfy our clients. Atwell Development, Inc. believes that if a company becomes too large, we may lose our personal touch and communication with the team members involved. We have created a niche in the construction market to give the attention needed to achieve our goals.
